Down Counter

This binary down counter subtracts one from the position you click and borrown from the next higher position if necessary.

As you count down repeatedly on one position, you'll see how it borrows from the next position.

• Predict the new bit pattern before clicking.
• Verify the total against the bit pattern.
• Compare and discuss the initial state of the Down Counter with that of the Up Counter.
